Dr. Zawilinski was born and raised in Florida. She completed her higher education at Florida State University (B.S. Psychology), Appalachian State University (M.A. Clinical Health Psychology), and the University of Southern Mississippi (PhD Clinical Psychology). Her pre-doctoral internship at the John D. Dingell VA in Detroit, MI brought her to Michigan. After internship, Dr. Zawilinski wanted to remain in Michigan and completed a fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology and Medical Education at Ascension Genesys in Grand Blanc, MI. She joined the Providence Family Medicine residency faculty in November 2019. Her curricular areas include: behavioral medicine, DEI, research, and wellness. She lives in Berkley with her husband, son, and their dog. For fun, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
